Issued 10:30 AM PDT 7 September 2024 A strong ridge of high pressure is currently located west of theoffshore waters.
Strong to gale force northwesterly winds will develop ahead of the
ridge over Northwest Vancouver island, south of the Brooks
Peninsula. The strongest winds will develop late this afternoon and
ease off overnight.
