A strong low pressure system will move through Alberta, and will develop strong, potentially damaging winds beginning early Thursday morning and continuing throughout the day. Wind gusts up to 80 km/h are likely. Winds will weaken by Thursday evening. Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is likely. Prepare for some disruptions to transportation, services, and utilities. Driving conditions will likely be very difficult. High-sided vehicles could be overturned by the wind. Secure loose objects.
