Severe Thunderstorm Warning in effect for:

At 5:43 PM MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing pea to dime size hail and heavy rain. This thunderstorm is located over southeast Edmonton, near the intersection of The Anthony Henday and Highway 14, and is heading to very slowly to the east. Driving conditions will likely be difficult. Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris and hail. Don't drive through flooded roadways. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
