Snow squalls are possible tonight, causing brief but heavy snowfall and poor visibility. Heavy flurries are expected to develop over northeastern Alberta early this evening and move south tonight. Visibility may be suddenly reduced to near zero in flurries. Blowing snow is also possible in open areas. Conditions will improve overnight. Travel may be hazardous. Prepare for the possibility of quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Snow squall watches are issued when localized, intense snowfall causing rapid accumulation and/or reduced visibility is possible.
