Remarks: Forecast guidance indicates a variety of wintry precipitation and strong winds will likely affect the region. While it is too soon to provide specific details, the potential exists for significant amounts of snow along with strong winds and the potential for a period of freezing rain or ice pellets. Accumulations of snow and ice may create slippery and hazardous travel or walking conditions. Strong winds may cause tree branches to break and damage utility lines.
