A significant winter storm continues. Locations: Green Bay - White Bay and Deer Lake - Humber Valley. Further snowfall: near 5 cm. Maximum wind gusts: northwesterly 90 km/h, except 120 along exposed areas of the coast. Time span: ending overnight tonight. Remarks: The combination of snow and strong winds will result in poor visibility in blowing snow tonight. Travel will likely be challenging. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Winter Storm Warnings are issued when multiple types of severe winter weather (such as snow, freezing rain, wind and rain) are expected or occurring.
