First significant snowfall of the season What: 15 to 25 centimetres of snow When: from this evening until Monday Where: Quebec City area, La Tuque, Laurentian Park, Saguenay, Lac Saint-Jean and Les Escoumins Additional information: Rain could also mix with snow at times in areas near the St. Lawrence River, where 5 to 10 centimeters of snow are possible. The highest snowfall amounts are expected over higher terrain. These conditions could make roads snowy and slippery, making travel difficult on Monday. Visibility will likely be reduced at times. Allow extra time for travel. Snowfall warnings are issued when significant impacts are expected due to snowfall accumulations.
