RAINFALL WARNING

Rain, heavy at times is expected. The frozen ground has a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall. Locations: southwestern and western Newfoundland including the Great Northern Peninsula and Green Bay - White Bay. Time Span: Continuing until Saturday morning or evening. Total Rainfall Amounts: 40 to 70 mm, with higher amounts possible. Remarks: Steadier rainfall is expected to begin again over the southwest coast later this evening.
