Rainfall Warning in effect for:

  • Norman Bay to Lodge Bay

Rain, heavy at times is expected. Locations: southeastern Labrador from L'Anse-au-Clair to Cartwright. Total rainfall: 25 to 45 mm, with locally higher amounts possible. Time span: Monday morning until Tuesday or Wednesday. Remarks: While heavy rain is expected to occur along the coast, significant freezing rain is forecast for areas farther inland and over higher terrain overnight and early Monday morning. Rain is expected to taper off on Tuesday from L'Anse-au-Clair to Red Bay, but may continue into Wednesday from Lodge Bay to Cartwright. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected. Freezing Rain Warning in effect for:

  • Norman Bay to Lodge Bay

Freezing rain is expected or occurring. Locations: southeastern Labrador. Time span: overnight tonight until mid-morning Monday. Remarks: Freezing rain is expected to develop overnight before transitioning to rain Monday morning as temperatures rise. While some parts of the coast will be affected, the greatest ice accumulations are expected over higher terrain areas. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.   • Add to shortcuts
    • Go to the desired page on the site, open the Weather shortcuts menu and click on the "Add to shortcuts" button
    • Page name will display in the "Add this page" window, the name can be changed by highlighting the text and entering the desired name

    • Click on the "Organize shortcuts" button
    • Click and hold the link and move to new location in the list
    • Click on the "Close" button to save the change
  • Rename a link
    • Click on the "Organize shortcuts" button
    • Select the link to rename
    • Click on the "Rename" button and change the link name
    • Click the enter or tab key
    • Click on the "Close" button to save the change
  • Keyboard navigation
    • Use the Tab key to move to a button or link
    • Use the Enter key to click on buttons or links
    • Organize shortcuts navigation
      • Use the ↑ Up key to select the link above. If none are selected, it will select the first link.
      • Use the ↓ Down key to select the link below. If none are selected, it will select the last link.
      • Use the Page Up key to move a selection up in the list.
      • Use the Page Down key to move a selection down in the list.
  • Restore default list
