Snowfall warning in effect for:

  • Yellowhead

Snowfall, with total amounts of about 20 cm is expected.

A low pressure system is tracking across the northern Interior this afternoon. Snow has become heavy at times as the low approaches and then will ease Sunday afternoon as the low moves into Alberta.

Total snowfall accumulations of 15 cm or more are expected by Sunday morning.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
