By 3:30 p.m. NDT Wednesday departing ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the southeastern Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight low 993 mb located over Quebec.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Wednesday low 1000 mb located north of the Quebec
Lower North Shore.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:46 PM NDT 28 May 2024 Strong to gale force southerly winds across most of the district
tonight will persist between a ridge of high pressure over the Grand
Banks and an approaching low pressure system over Quebec.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port.
