Wind becoming southeast 10 to 20 Friday morning then diminishing to light near noon Friday except southeast 10 to 20 over southern sections.

interior to Haida Gwaii then to Explorer.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today quasi-stationary trough located off Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:06 PM PDT 17 April 2024 A large ridge of high pressure will lie quasi-stationary from the
Northern BC Interior to Explorer tonight through Thursday. Strong to
gale force outflow winds will develop through the mainland inlets
tonight and ease Thursday morning.
